Kenosha prides itself with its natural beauty, diverse architecture and a great love of sport and culture. Our 22 city and county parks provide a base for year-round recreation. Over 75% of city lake front is park land. Lake Michigan has always made the Kenosha area desirable. Bicycling has been a Kenosha tradition for generations and America's oldest operating Velodrome is located here. If you would rather bike or hike yourself, one of the finest trails in the state is a few minutes away. There's also some great golf to be enjoyed in our area. Over a dozen public and private courses are just a short "drive" away. Winter fun is also yours to be enjoyed with exhilarating downhill skiing at Wilmot Mountain or cross country skiing at beautiful Petrifying Springs.
